Watersports are found all along the coast, including scuba diving from Torrevieja and La Manga Del Mar Menor, where boat trips can be made to the Marine Reserve at Tabarca Island.   There is a Go Kart track within a 10 minute walk, great fun for all ages.

Torrevieja is home to a variety of wildlife including pink flamingos, which are protected within the nature reserve. It has a large marina, fun fair, a promenade which is bustling from early evening with street artists and stalls, and an abundance of clubs and bars, shops and restaurants. Local leisure facilities include horse riding, fishing, sailing, ten-pin bowling, multiplex cinema and an aquapark.  Don't forget the shopping.

Alicante, with its excellent shops, international marina and castle is also well worth a visit.

In Benidorm you will find the Terra Mitica and Terra Natura Theme Parks, the Benidorm Palace for an exciting Entertainment and Dance Show with Dinner, the Mundomar Marine & Exotic Animal Park and Aqualandia Water Park.

There are plenty of places to visit further afield, including the old towns of Orihuela and Murcia, passing through orange and lemon groves with lovely views of the mountains and Elche with its famous palm groves, and the natural hot spa at Fortuna.
